What is e-Business?
In practice, e-Business is more than just e-Commerce. The application of e-commerce can add or enhance revenue streams, increase market share or reduce cost of sales. e-Business refers to functions that can be enhanced or enabled using electronic capabilities; e-Commerce is a subset of an overall e-Business strategy.e-Business can be implemented discretely or span an entire value chain. They can include:

- customer service handling via email or web-forms
- business partner interactions.
Most e-Business applications provide interfaces (Application Programming Interfaces - API’s) where data can be transferred or exchanged with other programs.
This allows you to:

- integrate disparate applications

- boost accuracy
- save time
- reduce cost (read: save money)
